Meagan Meffert
Meagan Meffert is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 18 years of healthcare experience. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from NEO A&M College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Graceland University.
Throughout her career, Meagan has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, caring for patients with diverse medical needs. After practicing in Urgent Care as a Nurse Practitioner, she joined Prime Medical Spa, where she has spent the last three years helping patients improve their health through weight management, hormone optimization, and wellness-focused care. She is also a member of The Menopause Society.
Meagan created Prime Direct Primary Care to offer a more personal approach to healthcare, one that allows patients greater access to their provider, longer appointment times, and individualized care. She is passionate about helping adults prevent disease, manage chronic conditions, navigate hormonal changes, and achieve their health goals through a collaborative patient-provider relationship.

Do you accept insurance?
No. Prime DPC operates on a membership model and does not bill insurance for office visits. This allows us to spend more time with patients, offer more personalized care, and maintain transparent pricing.
Do you offer family memberships?
Yes! We offer discounted memberships for households with multiple family members.

How quickly can I get an appointment?
Our goal is to provide same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible. We strive to offer timely access and avoid the long wait times often associated with traditional healthcare practices.
Can I text my provider?
Yes. Members have direct access to their provider through phone, text, and email for routine healthcare questions and concerns. Response times may vary depending on urgency and time of day.
Do you offer telehealth visits?
Yes. Telehealth appointments are available for many conditions and can be a convenient option when an in-person visit is not necessary.
Do you offer weight loss services?
Yes. Weight management consultations are included as part of your membership. Medication costs, including GLP-1 medications, are separate and discussed during your visit.
Do you provide hormone therapy?
Yes. We offer hormone consultations and management for eligible patients. Treatment plans are individualized based on symptoms, medical history, and laboratory findings.
Do you see Medicare patients?
Yes. Medicare beneficiaries may join Prime DPC; however, Medicare cannot be billed for services covered under the membership agreement. Additional paperwork may be required.
Do you see children?
At this time, Prime DPC serves adolescents ages 14-17 and adults ages 18 and older.
Is there a contract or enrollment fee?
There is no enrollment fee. Membership may be canceled at any time with a 30-day written notice.
How do I get started?
You can schedule a free 15-minute Discovery Call to learn more about the practice or enroll directly via phone or in person.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Many patients are able to use HSA or FSA funds for qualifying healthcare expenses; however, eligibility can vary by plan. We recommend checking with your HSA/FSA administrator regarding coverage of DPC membership fees.
